With its advanced technology, BOLT+ makes programming and play fun for all ages. This small robot has all the features needed to learn programming, write JavaScript, explore science, and much more. Inside the app-controlled robot is a programmable LCD screen that displays animations, characters, text, and data. The BOLT+ screen can also display sensor data in real time, aiding in precise code debugging.
A light sensor also detects the speed, acceleration, and direction of the BOLT+, and a built-in compass aids orientation. Multiple BOLT+ units can communicate and interact with each other via infrared, opening up further play and programming possibilities.
By drawing on the screen, using Scratch™ Blocks, or JavaScript, users can develop their own games or play classics like Pac-Man and Snake, thus learning basic programming skills. Depending on the game, BOLT+ is controlled via the app on the floor or held in the hand and controlled by hand movements.
With its diverse modules, such as the 'Roll-to-Distance' module, which precisely moves the round robot a defined distance, it can be activated with 'Drive' and thus controlled even during a movement sequence. Other modules include 'On Button', which allows customization of button responses via the programming device, 'On Ambient Light Sensor', which creates color codes, and 'On Ambient Light Sensor', and allows programming of actions.
For learning programming, writing JavaScript texts, natural sciences and much more.
Compatible with Sphero Edu-App, it allows programming via drawing and driving commands, drag-and-drop blocks, or JavaScript text programming.
